For example if your schedule is set to deactivate Night Eye from 10:00 - 20:00, during the rest of the time Night Eye will sync with your current OS/Browser color scheme. In case you have both options enabled, they will run simultaneously. Having both Night Eye Schedule and OS/Browser scheme enabled *For Windows you can set the preferred Color scheme from Settings -> Personalisation -> Colors If it is set to Auto - the OS color scheme will adjust from Light to Dark and it will change the Night Eye from Normal mode to Dark mode respectively. Until the integration is enabled, you cannot manually adjust each page. If it is set to Light - every website that you visit will be presented in Normal mode. If it is set to Dark - every website that you visit will be presented in Dark mode. * For macOS you can control your OS Color scheme from System Preferences -> General -> Appearances It allows you to sync Night Eye with your OS/Browser Color scheme. When you have deep integration enabled and you selected dark mode for the particular website, Night Eye modifies the websites’ cookies/localStorage on your computer according to your preference. The cookies/localStorage are used to track your visits, activity and stored preferences such as preferred mode - dark/white. In a nutshell, when you visit a particular website, cookies/localStorage for it are stored on your computer. * Disabled - The extension will not convert nor control the built-in themes of the websites. ![]() * Night Eye dark - Instead of using the built-in theme, Night Eye will apply its own algorithm to convert the pages dark. In other words, you can control the YouTube (and others) theme directly from Night Eye. Regardless of what you set up as a theme directly on the website, the selected mode in Night Eye will override it. * Deep integration - Night Eye overrides the settings on the website (YouTube for example). The control over the deep integration consists of 3 modes: It allows you to control the dark theme of YouTube (and others) directly from the extension.
